iPhone 15 Pro Max · iOS 26.4 · Safari · Germany · WiFi

Testing a casino’s mobile experience properly means going through the whole thing on the phone: installing the app, navigating the platform, playing the games, and handling the financial side from within the app. I did all of that at BetRepublic on an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 26.4. The Progressive Web App (PWA) is well-built and delivers a consistent experience that matches the website closely. There are two small things worth knowing about, both of which are easy to understand once you know what to expect.

Getting the PWA Running

Installation through Safari’s share menu was straightforward. The Add to Home Screen option worked as expected, the icon appeared correctly on my home screen, and the first launch opened in full-screen mode without any errors. The Pro Max screen size presented no scaling issues. The layout adapted correctly and all elements sat where they should without anything appearing stretched or misaligned.
That clean startup experience matters because it sets the tone for everything that follows. A first launch that works correctly tells you the PWA has been built with care.

Navigation Performance

Moving around BetRepublic inside the PWA felt consistent with the browser version of the site. All the main sections loaded quickly, navigation icons worked on the first tap, and the transition between different areas of the platform was smooth throughout. The same visual gap that appeared in the ‘Win 26 Ticket’ section on the website was also present in the PWA, with the ‘World Cup Sport Tournament’ image loading partially between the 2:14 and 2:24 mark of the PWA navigation screen recording. Since this is the same issue in both environments, it confirms the problem sits at the platform level rather than being something PWA-specific. It is a cosmetic issue and does not affect any functionality.

The overall navigation experience in the PWA is comfortable. The interface is responsive, nothing loads slowly, and the layout feels well-suited to the phone screen.

Gameplay in the App

All ten slots loaded and ran correctly within the PWA. The same result from the website session applied equally in the app: nine games with no issues at all, and Lemur Levels producing its automatic restart before settling down and running normally. That restart is a platform-level issue that appears regardless of whether you are using the website or the PWA. The PWA itself did not introduce any additional instability.
Balance updates registered instantly throughout, and the game interfaces scaled properly to the iPhone screen. Playing slots through the BetRepublic PWA felt smooth and natural.

The Email Verification Display in the PWA

One thing to be aware of during registration: the email verification status does not update in real time within the PWA after you enter the confirmation code. You enter the correct code, it is accepted, but the display continues to show the email as unverified. A restart of the PWA is needed before the verified status appears correctly on screen.

This is a display synchronisation issue rather than a problem with the verification itself. The account is correctly verified. The PWA just does not reflect it immediately. Knowing about it in advance means you will not panic when you see the status still showing as unverified after entering the code. Close the app and reopen it, and the correct status will be there.

Financial Operations in the App

The cashier was fully accessible within the BetRepublic PWA. My deposit was processed through the app without any issues, and the withdrawal request was also submitted from within the app. No need to switch to the browser for financial operations. This is something I note specifically because several platforms in this testing series have had PWA cashiers that either lock up or cannot be accessed at all. BetRepublic’s works correctly.

Is the PWA Worth Using?

Yes, without hesitation. Once the email verification display quirk is understood, the BetRepublic PWA delivers a complete mobile casino experience. Navigation is smooth, games run well, the cashier is functional, and the overall performance matches the website closely. For any player who plans to use BetRepublic more than occasionally, installing the PWA and having it on the home screen is the more convenient option.

When I review a casino, I don't rely on casino-provided content or demo accounts. I deposit my own money, play through the platform as any real user would, and report exactly what I find - good or bad. Deposit fees, verification requirements, withdrawal speed, gameplay, mobile app reliability - I test all of it firsthand before writing a single word.
