OnlySpins Mobile App – Testing the PWA (Video)

A lot of casino players these days do everything on their phone. I am one of them. So when I tested OnlySpins, I paid close attention to how the mobile experience held up, both in the regular mobile browser and through the Progressive Web App (PWA) that the casino offers.
What Is a PWA and Why Does It Matter?
A PWA is essentially a version of a website that you can install on your phone’s home screen and use like a native app. It sits there with its own icon, opens in a full-screen view without the browser bar at the top, and feels more like a dedicated app than a webpage. OnlySpins does not have a traditional app you can download from the App Store, so the PWA is the closest thing to that experience.
How the Mobile App Performs
The good news is that for day-to-day use, the mobiel app performs very similarly to the standard mobile browser version. Navigation is smooth, everything scales properly to the screen, and the overall look and feel is clean and well-organized. I could browse games, check promotions, and move between sections without any noticeable difference compared to using Safari directly.
Game loading inside the PWA was also solid. The slots I tested during my gameplay sessions loaded quickly and ran without any issues.
One area where the PWA did fall slightly short was on the very first load of the Promotions section after opening the app fresh. The promotional banners took noticeably longer to appear compared to the same section in the regular mobile browser. This happened around the 01:22 mark of the PWA navigation screen recording. Once they eventually loaded, everything was fine, and on subsequent visits within the same session the loading was fast. It looks like the PWA has not yet cached those assets on first launch, which causes the initial slowness.
Navigation and Usability on Mobile
Getting around the casino on mobile was easy. The main sections are clearly laid out, the tap targets are appropriately sized, and the overall layout adapts well to a phone screen. The Sportsbook flicker I noticed on desktop when switching between sports categories was also present on mobile, but it is a small thing that self-corrects.
Bottom Line on Mobile
If you are planning to use OnlySpins mainly on your phone, you will not be disappointed. The PWA is well-built, the games run smoothly, and the overall experience is comfortable on a mobile screen. The Promotions section loading slowly on the very first open is a mild annoyance, but it is not something that disrupts actual gameplay or the deposit and withdrawal process.
