SpinBoss Registration – Email Verification Fix (Video)

SpinBoss takes a slightly different approach to registration than most platforms in this testing series, and the difference is worth explaining clearly before you start the process. The first step is minimal and gets you into the platform quickly. The second step collects the full set of personal details. Both email and phone verification are required and both work correctly. There is one display inconsistency that might cause brief confusion, and I want to describe it before it catches you off guard. The full registration sequence is in the registration screen recording.

Step One: Email or Phone, Plus Password

The first registration step at SpinBoss gives you a choice that most platforms do not: you can register with either an email address or a phone number, alongside a password. Either option gets you through the initial step and into the platform immediately. For players who prefer not to use their email address at the first commitment point, or who find phone-based registration more convenient, having the option is a small but meaningful flexibility.

The first step is deliberately minimal. Once submitted, the account is technically active at a basic level and access to the platform opens. The second step is signalled by an orange dot on the Personal Data section in the account settings, which indicates that the registration should be continued.

Step Two: Personal Details

The second step collects the full set of required information: first name, last name, date of birth, country, address, email address, and phone number. The fields are clearly labelled and the form follows a logical order. Nothing about the second step is confusing or unnecessarily complex. Completing it takes a few minutes.

The Verification Section Quirk

Here is the part worth paying attention to. If you navigate to the Verification section of the account after completing only the first registration step, before completing the personal details and verification steps, the section displays a message indicating no verification is required. This is inaccurate at that stage. Verification has not been completed yet. The message appearing before any verification has been done creates the impression that the account is fully verified when it is not.

This is a display logic issue. The message should either not appear until verification is actually complete, or it should accurately reflect that verification is pending. Players who see it and take it at face value may move on without completing the verification steps that are actually required.

Phone Verification: Instant and Problem-Free

Phone number verification was required after completing the personal details step. The verification code arrived immediately and the confirmation completed without any issues. The phone verification is handled efficiently and adds minimal friction to the process.

Email Verification: Works, But Needs a Restart to Show

Email verification was also required and functioned correctly in terms of the link being delivered and accepted. After clicking the verification link, the email shows as verified in the system. The display inconsistency is that the Progressive Web App (PWA) does not update the email verification status in real time after the link is clicked. The status continues to show as unverified until a full app restart is performed.

After restarting the mobile app, both the email and phone show as verified and the registration is complete. The verification screenshot is saved in the reference file for this step. The restart is a minor inconvenience rather than a real problem, but a player who does not know about it and sees their email still showing as unverified after clicking the link may try to reverify, wait for a new email, or assume something went wrong.

After Registration

Once both verification steps are complete and the mobile has been restarted to reflect the updated status, the account is fully active and ready for the deposit stage. No additional screens block the path to the cashier. The two-step structure with orange-dot signalling for the second step is a clear and functional design once you understand what the indicator means.

I'm Oli Wer, founder and Editor in Chief of OnlineCasinos.cc. My background is in IT - I spent years doing QA before turning my full attention to the online casino industry. That technical foundation shapes everything I do here.

When I review a casino, I don't rely on casino-provided content or demo accounts. I deposit my own money, play through the platform as any real user would, and report exactly what I find - good or bad. Deposit fees, verification requirements, withdrawal speed, gameplay, mobile app reliability - I test all of it firsthand before writing a single word.
