It is the kind of thing that would not bother most players once they had been through it once, but for a brand new user hitting that freeze on their very first interaction with the app, it creates a bad impression at exactly the wrong moment.

Day-to-Day Performance

Setting aside that first-launch freeze, the mobile app performed well during normal use. Navigating between sections felt responsive, the game lobby loaded quickly, and switching between different areas of the site did not produce any lag or layout issues. The overall feel was very close to using the regular mobile browser version, which is the goal for any good PWA.

The screen scaling was handled correctly. Text was readable, tap targets were a sensible size, and I did not have to pinch to zoom in on anything or squint to make out a label. On a 6.1 inch screen at standard zoom, everything sat comfortably in the layout.

Games loaded in the mobile app without any additional delays compared to the browser. Once I was inside a slot, the experience was identical: smooth gameplay, accurate balance updates, and no crashes. If you close the PWA mid-session and come back to it, it picks back up without issue.

PWA vs Browser: Which Should You Use?

Honestly, after testing both side by side, the regular mobile browser and the mobile app deliver a very similar experience in practice. The mobile app wins on convenience because it sits on your home screen and opens without the browser chrome taking up space. The browser version wins on reliability for that very first session, since it does not have the cold-launch freeze issue.

My suggestion would be to use the browser for your first session and then consider adding the PWA once you are set up and logged in. That way you sidestep the one moment where the app has shown a tendency to stumble. After that, the PWA is the more convenient option for day-to-day play.

The Bottom Line

Vicibet’s mobile app does what it needs to do for the most part. The installation is painless, the day-to-day navigation works well, and playing slots through it feels perfectly fine. The one-time freeze on first launch is a genuine bug that the team should address, because first impressions matter enormously in this market. A player who hits a frozen screen the first time they open an app is very likely to delete it and not come back.

Fix that first-launch issue and the PWA becomes a solid option for mobile players. Right now it is good with one notable asterisk.
